At Jim Bobs Lawn Care we’ll do whatever it takes to get your lawn in shape for spring. We like to do a thorough once over of your property. We rake compacted beds, remove debris that may have built up over the winter, power blow and hand rake so April showers can bring in the May flowers.

A full spring cleanup will leave your yard ready for all your spring and summer activities Like all our services, we can customize for your exact needs. If you’ve already done some of the work but have found you can’t finish for some reason, we can come in and do the rest.

Some people prefer to have their lawn cleaned up in the spring, however, doing it in the fall is actually better for your lawn. With that said we live in Iowa and sometimes winter arrives earlier than we are ready for, so you might not get everything cleaned up before the snow. Fall cleanups get rid of the leaves and organic matter that build up when the weather gets cold and leaves start falling. It is good to get the debris off the lawn because it is not ideal to sit there all winter covered by snow. The leaves start to rot and get moldy. It could also lead to the grass being killed off if not taken care of early enough in the spring.
